Gargi Gorai

I am a self-taught artist with more than 20 years of experience in oil on canvas and illustrations. My strength is versatility. Working with oil and dry pastel is my passion while mixed media brings out the most in my creativity. I do realism, abstract, contemporary and contemporary realism as I would like to call it. I love to play with colors and the surface I choose to paint on. Nature is my greatest inspiration, but everyday objects or life situations are also the subject of my art sometimes.

I’m an avid crafter too and occasionally participate in vendor fairs.

I have been participating in various Art exhibitions in New Jersey and NY since 2014 and work with galleries to put up my art.
