Course Description:
In this course students will learn the methods and materials used in drawing, while they learn to create realistic drawings and use of charcoal. Various method will be discussed. Materials used will include, graphite, charcoal, and pastel (optional). Participants will learn how to block-in an image by making simple shapes and simplify values into light and shadow. Demonstrations will be provided and the use of different drawing surfaces will be discussed. Still life set-up can be provided. Check our material list
