Course Description: Explore drawings with Pen & Ink experience. It is designed for intermediate students. In this class you learn how to make more intricate and dense art projects with pen, ink and washes. We will review the basic pen and ink techniques you have learnt in the VIRTUAL – DRAWING WITH PEN AND INK – Beginner class. We will discuss on pen and ink drawing techniques, tools, and materials e.g. ink, drawing pens, various nibs, graphite pencil, eraser, paint brushes and paper. Learn to draw different line variations and understand why it is so important. Next you will learn different shading techniques, textures and patterns, the fun marks and impressions to make the artwork more expressive. You will also learn how to apply washes of ink and watercolor to create smooth transition of values while exploring drawing floral, landscapes, still life, animals, houses, plants, portraits etc. At the end of the class you will be enjoy applying all these techniques in your favorite projects. drawing, shading techniques with texture how different strokes create shapes, textures and values.
Pre-requisite: VIRTUAL – DRAWING WITH PEN AND INK – Beginner class.
