Acrylic is the most versatile medium. It is a non-toxic water-based fun-loving medium. It can be applied thin and watery like watercolor or thick like oil. You will learn what materials and surfaces can be used for painting with acrylic. How to mix and apply the best match of colors and values of colors to match the exact shades of the subject. We will cover materials and setup, color mixing and pigment choice, brush handling and palette knife techniques, gels and mediums. We will discuss the methods that achieve great results even if you got no artistic training. We’ll cover a wide range of techniques like underpainting, glazing, scumbling and impasto textural effects. You will develop a good foundation of how acrylic works and you’ll be able to build on that to develop all the paintings you’ve ever dreamt about. Join this class to unleash your inner artist.
